What a cool page to stumble upon today. Under Popular Culture, World Cinema, they have a section on the Global Box Office:

“We’ve all heard of Hollywood and Bollywood. But what about the rest of the planet? GWR presents you with a guide to the biggest movie hits made by the world’s other film industries.”

And there’s The Singing Revolution! …sandwiched between Slumdog Millionaire and Amelie.
Is nice. We like.

  1. l like both "sigining revolution" and frenchy "Amelie"…

  2. One day there will be an entry in there for the world’s longest-living artificial Mind.

  3. Will the AI be a masterful off-topic spammer? Have to ask as this is your forth post, with a wisp of personalization each time. Perhaps a learning algorithm. =)

  4. Singing Revolution – brilliant film – congratulations !

  5. Proud to say I’ve seen 100% of those films…and all were amazing. Sadly, all but Dundee would NEVER have been made by Captain-Crunch-Hollywood in the same artful way.

Your Rocket Flight Computer Readout was on 10 November 2009 — so we keep coming back to Your Eminence in all things technological. We would like to create artificial intelligence in Russian and in German, and you are known as someone who understands "BEC OCMOTP Y HAC" and the language of Tolstoy. So please excuse us when we do what we gotta do to cause the Technological Singularity.
