I took a video of Elon Musk showing off the 17” touch screen in the dash, and then I drove it out on the banked track at the Tesla Factory.

We started inside the Stamping Plant where they have the largest hydraulic press in North America, with robots like the one behind me feeding and caring for themselves. They do their own tool head swaps.

(Driving indoors is not a problem when you have zero emissions.)

Oh, lucky timing, I just got an email that the Model S beta will be on display this weekend in the Bay Area:

Is that in fact the same vehicle I was looking after at CES in January? Or just the same colour? It’s a hell of a car, I have to say.

That was probably an alpha build. This is a beta build that arrived on Friday. There are several of them driving about. Over the weekend people took test drives until 1am.

also this color looks insanely tasty to me since it is kinda like lingonberries..(brusnika) i used to pick those up in the forrest:)
