While out on the playa launching rockets, what better than a vintage Apollo contractor’s jacket !

This one is from North American Rockwell and sports the special badge for a Mechanical Launch Team Technician. Seems like a nice title for masquerading about. So does the “NAR” patch on the front, since NAR also stands for the National Association of Rocketry, the group that records my Level 3 certification for buying and launching the big rocket motors. They also keep the ATF at bay… =)

  4. Front looks cool, has a character:) in my other life had a few friends and former classmates, fashion experts…one couple had a studio in Moscow, Paris and Tokyo. They had amazing handmade things, I have heard that they work for theaters and cinema now. And, joining the chorus of fans here – from SV with big love:)

  5. I think you should swap the patches onto a Polo jacket..(in your size)
That collar is just not working for me…

  6. Very nice, especially the NAR part.
