There were a bunch of great launches at Aeronaut 2011. I have shared the ones where I knew the owner. Here are the rest from Saturday where I don’t know who flew ’em. If it’s yours, just let me know and I’ll send you the full size and may have multiple shots.

These were some of my favorites. The one above reminds me of an old painting, with rocket.

And Ken put together a video of yet more launches, best viewed 720p full screen

The first V-2 (I think both had rough landings)

Same rocket as above, climbing on what looks like a K1100

I found the owner of this one already but I wanted to share because it looks cool. Mike Keller ignited seven G80 motors at the pad. This is at liftoff, with a few not up to pressure yet:

  2. The Red V2 is Ken Biba’s Red Demo on an AeroTech L1390 Mojave Green. The Black and White V2 is Erik Eberts on an AeroTech K185 White Lightning. The Black Rocket with Red nosecone is Ted’s rocket on an AeroTech M1297 White Lightning.

  3. Great collection, in a way more interesting than some paintings, lots of action!

  4. Nice shots..gotta love a V2 in (?) the White Sands paint scheme.
