I found myself with a Press badge to see the “only flying Lunar Lander system under commercial development” at the Moon Express Hover Test Facility at NASA Ames.

Despite all the photographers, they did not allow any photos. But…they told me prior photos were OK to share, so here are some from our last visit.

We were inside the big bouncy house (suspended mid air in the room) that they use for hover and maneuvering tests.

    Back at the party tonight, I had to see how heavy a meteorite really is…

    and then we had to get it back on the exhibit stand. =)

  3. Sometimes I envy the kids. We’re still at the stone tool stage of space exploration. I’d really like to see teraforming and a functioning planetwide democracy.
