Prompted by a dare from her fans, among a variety of personal questions, none of which she dodged.

sol – they relaxed the camera rule and now just prohibit big "professional" SLR cams.
While I still remember it, during Q&A, Sarah shared:
• She has never slept with a woman. "I’ve kissed many, but have I done the nasty? No. Never."
• Singing the depressing songs written after her divorce are uplifting to her now because that’s all in the past now.
• Hold On was written for a good friend who contracted AIDS and passed away but had great courage throughout. -
Glad they did:) For some reason my camera attracted attention instantly:(
Kissing women? brr… why would a women kiss another woman? i personally have never did.
Ok, hope not getting in trouble again… somebody might get mad at me again., uff….
religion, politics and sex are tough topics for discussion online in the open air.
AIDS is so terrible, very very sad, we got to have a cure…with all nano-bio-tech around…
one more reason to kiss only right people… -
Am I reading what I am reading?! my goodness, what’s become of this album! hahh…
No, no girl kissing for me either… sorry for the -still unbelievable- male appeal to such fantasy. I just ask the guys to do the same with a boy, and mostly they cannot even bear with the thought… it’s just the same on this sidewalk. **cold shivers**
and truly, being men so wonderful, and kissing them so heavenly (I’m thinking about a man, not any men in general, but to broaden the thing to the genre)… why on earth would I change that for a woman? not in a million…
(maybe FOR a million… $$$…)
I wonder why she was asked such a thing?

my… I can’t believe what I am reading!!
J – good answer. Actually my question was not totally naive… she looks lesbian, or bi to be more precise. In Mirrorball, she introduces a song and she says it was written by her girlfriend, and you know that term is pretty ambiguous… even when I read it from canadians many times to talk that way to distinguish friends by their genre… From the first time I played the record, it called my attention…
And also, the Lilith Fair thing… she’s very like into the women’s world of women…
Those were my two thoughts. But when you see many pics of her, regardless of the music, becomes quite obvious she inclined to men. Hard to say how you tell the difference, but it’s clear to me…

Oh and… there’s nothing wrong about the sexual preference of people, v! It’s all good, I mean, as long as they enjoy it and it’s their true interest, go ahead. Happy people with better sexual lives is always related to increasing levels of peace and concord… in other words, people should make love more often, and be really true in their inclinations about it (just as long as they don’t do any harm onto others, of course).
We are sex… that’s what we are here for! That’s the whole story about!!!

Many, are clearly man-oriented,s. 😉 But some other are quite in that shade of gray…
Hey, in English when you say "my boyfriend’/girlfriend" you refer to the guy/gal you are having a relationship with, and if the thing is serious they can become your fiance/ee… right? some people say "girl friend" to mention they are talking about a friend who is a woman… like a "friendess" like I am "an alieness"…
Please natives around, some clarification!!!

Na na naaaaaa…. oh no no no…
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/girlfriend
girl·friend (gûrlfrnd)
n.
1. A favored female companion or sweetheart.
2. A female friend.girlfriend [ˈgɜːlˌfrɛnd]
n
1. a female friend with whom a man or boy is romantically or sexually involved; sweetheart
2. any female friend===============
Please note the order of the definitions…Don’t get me crazy!!!! LOL!
And sorry, but I NEVER heard a woman talking about her BF or boyfriend, referring to a friend… This could be a clue on the mixed engagements men have with women in so that they say that men and women cannot be friends! That’s why they call them friend or girlfriend, because they want to get laid any ways… 😀

It means that his is pulling my leg! Here we have a case in which the meaning is clear, even when not in the range of the expected dichotomy of meanings. 😉

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/solerena] Don’t worry about writing about cats, people won’t suspect anything out of the mainstrem. The thing is when you want to write a love song about/to your dog.
G night you all!

I wanted to add something: culture in the US puts too much emphasis on sex, not enough on feelings, intimacy, connection and other aspects of the relationship. Overall, it hurts more women than men, especially very young girls who are bombarded with the demands to be sexy at a very early age. Being a responsible parent and wanting the best for my daughter means to keep these dynamics in mind for me.
Also it is very important for me personally to have the right exposure and continue learning. Relationships are also the area where people keep learning about themselves and others. This post is interesting in this regard.
Steve is my most favorite mentor in the valley, I would not probably stick on flickr that long if not his pictures and this small group of contacts around him with amazing photography and a lot of wonderful ideas to share. Although my own photographic passions right now are on hold due to the time constraints (using phone camera mainly), I do appreciate other people’s work big time! -
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/solerena] AMEN, sister!!! 😀
I’d vote for her, I tell you.
Hey, now, true. All true what you say. It’s also a thing, I think, that men tend to relate to women from the outside in, and women to men from the inside out. (something to do with the shape of our sexual organs?) It’s interesting to see that when you, woman, "make love" the other person, man, is "having sex"… I am not trusting that much the real difference there, but I am taking it more like a different way of experiencing and communicating about a very similar situation, both people live. I also find that when I was younger everything was about love with a man, in order to relate intimately, and they seem to be all about just sex, when intimate… now, years later, I found myself increasingly detached from the "love" idea, and men, as they grow older, more inclined to start connecting sexual encounters with a lot of sentimental things, that are pretty scary… Even when I don’t go occasional sex, but I have examples, and friends of mine, now in their forties, too.
So… it seems that the scale evens at some point.
One comment: When I said that we are sex, I was talking about the hypothesis that says that the individual and all its functions are necessary for a greater purpose, which is to reproduce the code, so we are fundamentally not people, but code carriers (DNA vectors), and sex and sexual drive is as important as other vital functions like breathing and feeding, and actually, feeding and breathing are necessary to keep the carrier alive and healthy to spread the code. We humans have curved that in some way, distorting about almost everything in our biology, but it seems this is the case. That I was taking about!
How interesting this conversation has become!!! (not the first time it happens down here, right?)

Ops, vennetaj –let’s not start on god subject on this string:D
ok, agree with this point of view about biological side of mankind and pretty much agree that women are all about making love… I was really trying… move forward.
Another different aspect here – I do not agree with the statement: let’s give men what they want because they want it… nope, women’s role through centuries was uplifting their spirit to the high ground, we would not have a civilization if not for women (not my words – male words). They would not respect themselves and us if we will push these boundaries down, we have to keep them up… and biology Is not everything, we are not animals, we will be able to redesign ourselves. In fact they want us but they do not want only sex, they want the real thing. -
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/24270806@N06] LOL! That maybe the reason why women are so difficult to understand…
