The view from the box seats last night, an alien dreadnought in the night…

The huge BARCO LED TV over stage wraps around into a full circle, and it did a few tricks midway through the show… which you can see here in this video compilation.

This is ground control to Major Tom….

  3. Thanks for that! I spoke with security about the set, and they said it took a full four days to build for the one-night show.

    Looking at the schedule with shows every other night, they must have at least three copies of the whole set to make the logistics work.

  4. There are three sets of, er, sets. We saw them play in Dublin (Croke Park, in itself an important fixture of modern Irish history) at the beginning of this tour, with other local boys the Script opening. Plenty of heart, impressive stage, well played, but given the album it all supported, paled in comparison to the Joshua Tree or Zoo TV tours…
