Caught chilling between launches… next to the Boy Scout tents…

I just got back from DairyAire, and the shower sure felt good.

And wow, so many fun recordings. I flew four different video cameras on rocket, plus three on the ground… much footage to ponder.

The weather was great, all of our flights were successful, and some crazy stuff happened, even a helicopter recovery of a wayward rocket trapped on an island.

    Sometimes the water is just too shallow for the yachts to retrieve them.

    Actually, it was a bit more rustic… perhaps I should clarify…. They were in a fix and then noticed a crop duster ‘copter over in the next field… With a bit of persuasion, the farmer took them over for what has to be the best rocket recovery story ever.
