A cool gift SpaceX just gave to its employees… a numbered patch that flew in space on the first commercial spacecraft to return to Earth from orbit.

It is in good company with an early Apollo control panel and a piece of the moon.

  1. Definitely marks a turning point in human history, this should be in a museum someday.

  2. Nice Canon lens coffee mug…

  3. And now this is my second fave Space Patch after the one our friend GiGi the SpaceGirl made for Esther =)

    my cosmonaut patch

  4. Cool, saw different versions of the evolution of man progressions – some of them were rather funny – like the one with a prehistoric-modern man sitting at the computer with a crooked back at the end… can relate to this one rather well when it comes to most engineering and other office jobs in Silicon Valley….
Also flying in space DNA reminds me of Nissam Haramein ideas (listening to his videos when the time permits)… real scientists like Susskind (listened to his recent TED talk) would put his ideas probably in “bologna” category… but if you add this bologna to all other scientific ingredients in the sandwich in a playful creative way… the whole thing might fly us to space:D or destroy us as species completely…

  5. The patch is great, the moon rock is priceless, but please, just will me the Apollo control panel!…;-P…LOL
