    Venter and Scientists

Dr. Hamilton on the left was very excited to study and genetically sequence seahorses:
"Just think, seahorses are the only animal where the males get pregnant and give birth."
which prompted an immediate response from Venter: "And we want to keep it that way!"

  5. Yes, it’s always better with mimes.

I just remembered a Venter quote from the stage:
"Algae are so efficient in producing oils from CO2 that if we wanted to replace all of the petroleum on the planet, we would need a pond area the size of Nevada. And that’s a good use of Nevada."

…competing with the Google robocars and our rockets =)
