On each trip afar, I seem to find one exotic and glorious moth that I have never seen before…

Another species ID request to the flickr folk… This one is about 4″ across.

  2. cute moth, like the little spots on sides (back to fractals)… this one (below) is my favorite of yours… and it looks like a mini-singularity in its own accord:D

  3. Looks like a Black Witch Moth (Ascalapha odorata). Though it can be found in Hawaii, it is apparently not native to the islands. This is apparently a male. The female has a whitish V-shaped median stripe running across its wings.
