  1. Alas, I was not so strong.
    Makeup Man
The powder inevitably reddens my eyes…

Oh, and a recently discovered video of Steve Jobs preparing for his first TV interview… You can feel his anxiety…

  2. What are you doing on Bollywood TV?

  3. Cool experience…did not know men have to have makeup too…and Steve Jobs did look fine without:D not sure if makeup helps with anxiety…some mask would help me more…

  4. Ha-ha, this is funny! Sorry, I have my own mental picture about how this might have happened. 😀

  5. Let’s see. You might have tried to say "No" a few different ways, but who’s going to take a ‘No’ for an answer? Smiling and effusive faces can be so compelling.

"Sir, we will do a very good job, you’ll look very, very good. I have done make-up for Bollywood stars."

You’re wondering if you should ask for a disposable powder puff or bite your tongue and just let him use the same puff he used on the previous person. Meanwhile you have a lot of powder on you face (ok, maybe not too much, because you’re already "white"). As he’s doing his thing you’re wondering if those combs and brushes are sanitized. You probably feel a complete lack of control and personal space. And the yellow, why is it that everything looks yellow, just like in "Outsourced"? And that Goddess’s frame with flowers – are those flowers fake or real? Are those sprays and lotions from China? Fake or real? Are expiration dates on products required in India?

They’re all so nice and pleasant and ready to please!

When your eyes are closed to avoid the powder, the mind does a lot of monkeying. 🙂
