Arrived from Switzerland. The crate itself was a work of art, with black stencil over white patches…

  1. When I said the modern art arrived, one person thought the crate was it.

    But then the Swiss Miss radiated out…

    Swiss Miss

  2. Great collection! Smithsonian on the East, Jurvetson on the West. (Sorry about the note, I’m a Tek junky)

  3. I saw your video of this piece and immediately fell in love with it. So cool that you have it!
    Are you going to save a panel of the box, too? The stencils are nice.

  4. the presentation and effect offered by leaving the art in the box is pretty dramatic. you might consider the way you have it now as a temporary installation of the piece…

  5. I was enchanted with this installation when I saw the video referenced in your previous post. Love MARCK’s works and his approach to women’s condition.

  6. You are never going to get any work done with that gorgeous woman swishing around. ‘-}

  7. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/41694149@N05] why women’s condition, not human? men sometimes think what is not acceptable for them can be acceptable and even comfortable for another human being, if this human being is female… and it is only because it is a male dominated world:)… again addressing the societal issues not any particular individuals… the art is nice… love these colors…

  8. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/solerena] I agree with you Sol. I just wrote a comment in these terms in the older post. However, I think MARCK makes perfectly planned video sculptures and he shows… women. Also, I think is remarkable the fact that we are seeing a woman in jail but we love the nice art... Yes, it is great art. It reminds us we are comfortably numb like she is comfortable in her warm cage

  9. Is it from Fragile with a leg lamp inside?

  10. I recall another mystery box a while back. Working in your office must be fun just because of the surprises that keep arriving at the door.

    Will you show us this one once installed?

    Steve, you will soon need a larger office. Perhaps you can make a greenhouse out of part of the garden out your window and add all your art and space artifact.
