  1. Great high-key shot! And one lucky little kitteh 🙂

  2. She too is happiest with a camera at hand….I mean paw!

  3. Some of us just use camel hair brushes to clean the lens. Never thought about using the whole cat.

  4. She’s got good taste… reminds me of my kitty, Tesla.

  5. Those fancy high-tech pillows can be kind of pricey.

  6. @Kevin Trotman love your cat name! High voltage, low current when rubbed….

@21511347@N00 Yes ma’am. Keeper’s the name. From a few days old, she was the one that seemed to imprint on the little people, leaving the litter to wobble after them, and so from her feral litter of seven (with several dads), she stood out

  7. Thanks, Steve. Tesla got her name because she would run from room to room as fast as lightning! I thought it was fitting. Keeper is also a fitting name.

  8. oh, she was very sweet as a kitten:)

  9. She’s a big girl, now! Nice image captured here.

  10. Oh, I remember that one… Must have been a subliminal revival

@Melanie and getting bigger… I suspect she is overfed; she left a nice rat on the front step last night, laid out like an offering.

  11. The lens smells of daddy 🙂

  12. I sooooooo miss having a cat!! or two.

  13. Better go get some! I recommend the Maine Coon if you find one… I could have sent you some.

    @Tomi Tapio… she’s a Proustian dreamer

She brought you a dead animal ? Uh-oh.

  15. I love that… Always wanted a read on those whack behaviors….

  16. A very nice cat who knows exactly the value of things and chooses where he belongs!

I love furry cats like your Keeper. I decided a few years ago, after much searching, that I wanted a Norwegian Forest cat but that the Main Coon came in very close second. I cannot have a cat yet but one day, I will.

Cats always leave you dead animals as offerings. My cat would leave me half a bird or half a mouse, on a pillow or on the floor.

  17. Yes, we often have the hind quarters of ground rodents as offerings… and sometimes the whole enchilada
