  2. The new terminal B at San Jose Airport. Each twisted nematic LCD panel flickrs away overhead. (short video)

    Part of the curiosity of the installation is how they address each panel from the thin hanging wires (as you can see in the top left, it appears that multiple panels hang off the same pair of wires, yet they do not blink in vertical unison).

  3. I have tried to take a picture of this panel a few weeks ago too, did not work… nice brand new terminal:)

What’s really cool is that they’re claiming to re-create cloud conditions from around the world… look at the display on the south wall of that corridor, and it shows you the name of the city for which the "sky" is currently being displayed in the handing LCD panels. Great concept in general, and especially so for an airport!
