Our last hike was along Cottonwood Creek up to Taggert and Bradley Lakes.

(Sunsplashed long exposures continue to surprise me… in this case, the tracer streaks of individual drops. Shucks, only really visible at larger sizes)

    Turning artistic on us ??

  2. Very nice. I did notice when looking at the largest size that you seem to have a lot of dirt on your sensor. I have done this by adding a 4 stop ND filter to the lens. Helps a lot over coming the 100 ISO low setting for doing long exposures in bright sun.

  3. Yes. I just had the polarizer, which helps a bit. It also helps to go telephoto, but I needed 28mm for this composition (given where I could perch myself over the water without a tripod =)

And thanks for the dust pointer…. I guess the auto-sensor-clean has not been doing the trick. I will give it a manual clean – the first for this camera. =)

    Dave… here you go:

  4. The individual drops appear like fireworks, which is very appropriate for today!
