   I’ve never understood why people like to decorate the keratin that grows out of the end of their fingers. So strange. I guess shiny things attract the male of the species?

   I don’t like long nails – they’re high maintenance, ugly and unhygienic (maybe the perception stems from "Did you clean under your fingernails??" scolding).

   Imagine those nails scratching a blackboard. Eeek!
