  5. Leino – Yes…. you see the advantage of skinny rockets. Altitude segregates by body diameter more than any other variable (ref. son’s science project). So although Erik’s nose cose alone probably weighs 2x the other two rockets combined, the diameter of his rocket dooms him over the long haul in this race. Off the pad, weight matters, as well as tricks like painting the forward grain with pyrogen… Realize that that there is a third rocket way off the frame. It was about 30 ft. up before these two left the rail.

    We knew all this, and thought it would be funny to drag race such a mismatch…
