an all electric car

Looks good, feels good, breathes even better… how about its audio? No audio, no? That’s such a pity about these new generations of automobiles…
Ugly car, but in my favorite color!
I wonder why electric car companies feel their cars must look like idiotic wanna-be-cool toy cars? Instead of elegantl, solid driving machines that could be taken seriously? This thing looks like it came from my son’s Hot Wheels collection, and I don’t mean this as a compliment.
true777, I agree with your comment. My only addition to it would be that I sense this is not only a trend in the electric car arena, but in the car industry as a whole. If you see the logotype updates from companies (ie Peugeot, Jaguar) and kind of design they are using for their new cars, I come to the conclusion that this "cartoonization" of cars is not only a thing of electric cars but of all cars. And if so, I guess it’s not blind selection here, but through market research. Therefore I must conclude that it’s not about car companies making cars that look more like a member of Toy Story, but people (and people with lots of money especially) who are wanting this kind of designs.
As a final idea, I want to add, if this is all true fact and not just an impression both from you and me on car designs, I would like to say that I prefer this trend than yet other possibility that would be people wanting their cars to look like weapons or bunkers or tanks. (re: Hummer came to mind)
How is it compared to the Toyota EViQ electricnick.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/toyotaeviq.jpg
side view is not so nice on either of them. Should make EV look something like this @40939791@N08
