Samoyeds always make me smile, perhaps because my ancestors (haplogroup M168 > M89 > M9 > LLY22(G) N) originally bred them.

Or maybe because the two dogs I adopted from shelters, before knowing my genetic ancestry, were both Samoyeds (photos below)

Seen on the HMB beach this weekend.
