  1. Can I job shadow you? You have so many great adventures!

  2. That Russian Foxtrot sub (the "Scorpion") is definitely worth a tour, esp for old Cold Warriors.

  3. Interesting angle, definitely.

  4. A fantastic view! Night scenes with lights are always great but seen from the air is wonderful!

  5. Hey Steve-

I was playing golf at Trump National in Palo Verdes Saturday and saw the Airship Ventures blimp cruising past us up and down the coast over the ocean. I had my Canon 5D Mark II with me, but I think I only had a 28mm fixed lens on it — capturing golf shots and panoramas of the course. I snapped several pics of the blimp with Catalina in the background. I’ll take a look and see if any of the photos turned out. I actually thought to myself when I saw the blimp — oh, that’s the SF airship company that was funded by DFJ, they must be around here for the TED conference.

Feel free to pass along my e-mail to anyone who might be interested in small, fuzzy blimp in the sky photos from the golf course looking out towards the ocean (jamescann – gmail .com)

  6. I’ve never seen an aerial of the Queen Mary at night. This is a great photo! Thanks for posting!
