Juveniles like her have black on the back of the ears… and those huntin’ ears are controlled by 20 different muscles.

A night hunter, she has round pupils, instead of slits.

She is a spectacular bird hunter, leaping to catch birds in flight (sometimes two at a time!) and also hunts animals larger than herself, like gazelle and antelope.

Seen at the WCN gathering last night.
