The very cool panorama of our early desert launch arrived from the framers today.

It’s just huge. Thanks again Victor et Alieness!

  1. How beautifully framed! Great moulding choice. Looks gorgeous. The image was already fantastic, but the framing added up to it a lot.

I am very happy. I have my own version hanging on the wall at my right. not such a great framing, and a meter wide, tho. But it’s a Victor original, with his signature and all! πŸ˜‰

We should make a promise as Victor and me someday visiting you at the office -better both together!- to get your piece signed with a black marker over the polycarbonate.

With frame and all should have reached 2 meters wide!

    Preeetty Pretty…. P-)

  2. Agreed! great idea… lets have a signing party. that looks terrific and thanks again Gi for the artist’s touch! That seems bigger than the original… or am I thinking of the desert already?

That office is become Steve’s "Rocketorium".

"Things are pointing up… and we like to keep it that way"

  3. @Vic: Yes, I sent it to a printshop and we made a print bigger than what the original (yours is here with me) was. The post office did the rest. πŸ˜‰ The results were pretty good!

Or are you talking about the original… desert? that was WIDE! πŸ˜‰

I wanted it to have a decent height… and that implied a huuuuuge width!!! 1.7 meters… like 65 inches? Lovely. I think the result was great when I saw it.

(He always wanted this print, it was rightly in due to get him one).

now I think… *you* have to have one your own to close the circle!

  4. We still don’t know if he has a wide free wall to hang such a piece!

  5. Ah, that explains it! I was thinking… geez… I’m really sure that thing was 8" wide !! yes we’ll have to sign it someday…I need the ‘exposure’ if I’m ever going to get ‘out there’ with fine art photography. Kind of interesting what a 5mp camera can do.

Good job! I’m glad *someone* knows what to do with my photography!!!
    ;-)))

Time to add a coffee table book by Victor and do some ‘viral marketing’, starting from its very incubator!

Thanks again to both of you – I’m pretty stunned.

  6. We will find a wall! Some folks were jonesing for the office, but I want it at home.

P.S. It’s amazing that the gold rocket survived this P motor CATO:

    Burp! Redline

…and to the right: the black video rocket’s last launch.
    Next time green metal salts

  7. I must have the file somewhere… we’ll make you a spare for the office on my big printer. πŸ˜‰
