The big red camera sees you.

P.S. The Economist is bucking the downward trend at many business magazines. It is the only subscription I get at home (outside of Photography and Rocket indie pubs) and I relish their punchy editorial. I have not found the same open mindedness anywhere in mainstream U.S. pubs…

  1. The Economist is my favourite podcast. Excellent content.

  2. Too funny…. I too use ‘The Economist’ as my primary source of news about America. Must be the distance from the ‘house of mirrors’ that allows their untainted insights. 😉

    Great Camera!

  3. I have to agree , it’s a great publication. And love this sculpture too. How cool. Can’t wait to see the tripod for that thing. 🙂

  4. What size film does this thing take?

  5. XL format methinks… I got a Polaroid that big once:

    Balls in the air

  6. Agreed on all fronts. Its really the only news rag worth spending time with IMO. I also read Monocle, which I find has decent, thoughtful content with some style.

  7. Could be that they live in a more advanced culture…. =)

Noticed this in a Thanksgiving article entitled "Missionary Positions":

So irreverent are Britons in matters spiritual that 390,000 of them gave their religion as “Jedi” in the last census, making the science-fiction warrior cult the fourth-largest faith in the land.

  8. I had a great happy laugh! Thanks for that link in response to my comment.
