A somewhat surreal panel pulled together by Jason Pontin of MIT Technology Review to discuss entrepreneurship in a downturn. Posed photo montage is from the May/June issue, and video excerpt online.

Gotta scoot to the Red Herring conference is tomorrow morning in San Diego (Jason was the editor there before Tech Review), and Churchill Club next week, again with Jason moderating. Oh my.

  1. You’re the only one who gets to keep their own gray square. Everybody else gets 3/4.

  2. The guy in the middle of picture is right. Relations flipped over and the capital is expensive now, compared to jobs, services, products etc. Cash is king and the only recomendation for the years to come is to sell the other things and pile up capital, not investing. Japan does it since early 90s and US will probably go the same way. Jim Rogers says to buy chinese Yuans long term and he might be right. Dollar will become toilet paper. Comparing this depression to 1930s, we are in 1930 now..
