A blue living tapestry! I would love to be a player in this scenario. Wonderful!
I will watch the videos later.

thanks!
pegleg000: It was the same camera as used for the still photos – a Pentax Optio WP. It’s a 6MP waterproof pocket camera (can easily hang from a wrist strap while snorkeling). All of the underwater shots in this set were taken with it. My only complaint is that it can have a tough time autofocusing in low light, which I often need as neither I nor the subject matter tends to be steady…
A few years ago, there were few good options for cheap and easy underwater photography. I am very curious about the new waterproof entries, both 12MP: Canon D-10 and wide angle Lumix TS-1 with some HD video format… ohh….

Very very nice!… I was doing the same in Galapagos this week, but then the water got too hot.

In the 60’s/70’s, underwater camera housings were either unobtainably expensive (for most in my circles), or were homemade from sheets of plexiglass. It took some nerve to place your camera in the homemade contraption and take it underwater- I saw a few ruined by sudden leaks. That Pentax is really something.
