Supersonic Drag Race

We had a heavily mismatched drag race with our little Initiator rocket versus Erik’s Pure Carbon fiber creation on a K700 motor. The audience did not quite know what to make of this Yugo vs. Tesla race…

We ignited first on Pad 21, and might have started ahead, but our G79 motor snuffed itself out (that’s 2 for 2 for this motor). Erik roared straight up and out of sight at Mach 1.26.
