He doesn’t look too happy to be there …. I had a teacher once, who could duplicate that look… Seriously, they are beautiful birds.

That is an awesome photo. Though, part of me says that guy’s about to lose an eye! (Watched The Birds again recently.)

Now I didn’t know that about the Eagle Owl – but I did see a Golden Eagle casually tear a big hole in her keeper’s hand just for the hell of it during a demo in Austria last year – just flicked her head and her razor beak did its work. Just to let him know who was *really* in charge!

A nice combination of the things that make Americans so proud: Bald Eagle, American flag, service men etc.
