I can’t believe it’s finally happening….

Just 3 more days and we’ll be Bush-less!

Heading out to D.C. today for the inauguration. Will bring cameras…

  1. aww.. that’ll make your Bush Clock obsolete. 🙂

No problem though.. Have a great time, looking forward to better times over here!

  2. Oh, you are sooo lucky!

  3. Dress warmly and enjoy. It will be an historic moment to tell your grandchildren about! Looking forward to your photos!

  4. Yes!

Wonder if the clock will continue counting with a negative sign, afterwards.

  5. I can’t believe Bush and Cheney were never arrested, convicted, and imprisoned.

  6. Brad, that’s like saying you can’t believe LBJ wasn’t arrested for causing the murder of millions in Vietnam through an illegal war that was staged and framed to get us into it and keep us there. One’s political bias tends to tell you who they think should be arrested these days Plus, LBJ’s economic / domestic policies hooked an entire generation of millions on the welfare state, ramped up the hyper inflation of the 70s, kept the stock market crushed, sent taxes through the roof, and generated massive unemployment. Sound kind of familiar? Yeah. Now, is it really that shocking Bush & Co. were never arrested?

  7. always glad to see a globe "upside-down" too. nearly as good as having a Bucky Dymaxion map for gaining new perspectives:)

  8. we have so many hopes… it’s scary…

expectations were set up so high.. will it be possible to meet them?

of course there is always a thought that it can’t get any worse; the real question is : can it get better? and when?

have fun in DC – i am jealous !!!!

  9. I do hope you’ll share plenty of photos with us. That’s the only reason that I’m not too jealous.

  10. Now taking orders for the "B.H.O." countdown clock…. each second will only seem like an hour 😉

  11. I wonder how Obama will cope with that trillions of bad debts, accumulated over decades of restless spending heh.. No doubt interesting times lie ahead.. we’ll see

  12. We can spend our time bashing Obama, or get behind him & his tough job he has to tackle, with the eyes of America & the world, on him. He has been chosen to take on the seemingly imposible task of turning this failed economy around, ending a war no one wanted, which began in a lie, & generally, kick starting a government frozen in patician bickering.
The expectations are tremendously high, but the reality is that the only way the new President & his cabinet can make a dent in these & other pressing problems in this country, is to support him, keep him stocked with new & inovative ideas & help him to suceed.
We went from a robust economy, eight years ago, to this disaster we have at present. We really have no choice but to get behind a new start & work to make it sucessful. What happens now will affect all our lives. I, for one, want this administration to be very sucessful, for my sake & everyones.

  13. Yeah, but I don’t have to get behind Obama & his tough job etc. because I don’t live there. Speaking of robust economy, eight years ago it wasn’t so robust – it was bubble internet pseudo new economy, after the LTCM crisis which almost destroyed the entire financial world (1998). This deflationary, zero interest rates crisis began in the 90’s in Japan and it is spreading all over the world now, like a perfect storm. USA with over $12 trillion debt and UK with over $10 trillion in debt.. Well I dont know what the outcome of this crisis will be, and I doubt Obama does.
