I have done a jigsaw puzzle for decades… and have never tried one this big… A fun family challenge.
But for now, it looks like a pointillist decomposition of color sprayed through a nebulizer across the floor.
The thought of crawling on my hands and knees to put together a 3000 piece puzzle makes me feel achy already. Good luck with it…
Fun! Can you set up a time-lapse on your progress?
Steve, judging by all your hobbies I conclude that for every hour of daylight that everyone else gets provided with, you somehow get 2…
Looks very time consuming & definitely one for the whole family (distant relatives included…lol)….you must show us the finished result! 🙂
Yes, it’s a wonderful seascape that appears straight from Hawaii. We saw almost all those creatures snorkeling… I will find a good live one to post…
for some reason, the image of Crichton’s book "the prey" came to mind… great… now my nightmares will include swarming puzzle pieces… :p sigh
weirdly splurged in two rough hemispheres with corpus callosum perforated into 4 bridges…
you can always photograph them all more from up, numerate them in the photo and ask people to find the one you are looking for. 🙂
great image!
— Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
my mom is a jigsaw fiend! to the point that she has a room just for puzzling. must forward this shot.
we used to have one of those abstract art jigsaws in the office common room. everyone stopping by to make a coffee would try to put a piece in place 🙂
You finish it yet?
