  1. Your camera lens is bigger than his! Me, I have no extra lens and no tripod. 🙁
L’objectif de ton appareil photo est plus grand que le sien! Moi, je n’ai pas d’objectif supplémentaire, ni de trépied. 🙁

  2. Only a woman would notice that 😉

Haven’t you heard, size doesn’t matter, only the quality of the photos…

  3. at least yer holding the lens right!
    😛

  4. The lenses are actually the exact same: Canon 100-400mm IS f/4-5.6L. Steve is just closer and has a hood on.

Yeah, but both guy’s right-hand grips are upside down 🙂 Right hand over the top would probably be more comfortable and less awkward.

  5. grip over hand works so much better when yer using a monopod.
without one, to have the shakes locked down…i ..use steve’s posture….or at least have for the last 20 years.
arms tucked in like that give you a steadier picture and that sucker gets heavy after a while … the right arm works like a biological monopod…. imho

  6. @Carleton, that is interesting to know. I think the hood on the camera helped to give that illusion. In any case, these must be so heavy! Considering that I am 5’1", such a lens would be proportionately larger for me. It helps that I have strong arms.

@Leino, perhaps Steve learned good habits from his cousin, directly or not. 🙂
