  1. I remember that scene, well one similar. It is a beautiful trail in the forest.

It looks like the little one and her brother are safe in the enchanted forest with fairy trees guiding them through their life journey. That is an excellent reason to be thankful!

I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

  2. Hi, I’m an admin for a group called Creative Commons- Free Pictures, and we’d love to have this added to the group!

  3. Great plece! Thak you for sharing.

  4. Hope yours was warm & wonderful. Enchanted image!

  5. Inquiring minds… I know what POST and CLT are, but the TNC has me baffled – despite a spot of googling. Translation please?

Also – looking at the terrain has me wondering a bit – the trees are more gangly and the understorey is sparser than I would have thought typical anywhere in the area covered by MROSD. Or are you farther afield here?

  6. Nope… Going down a steep downhill in Byrne Preserve.
(Putting this in the POST pool was a misleading mistake on my part))

TNC: The Nature Conservancy, the group that has a stone monument at the edge of this property.

  7. TNC = The Nature Conservancy (slaps forehead) Of course… I knew that…

And of course I should have recognized the location – very familiar with it for decades. Obviously I need a new pair of eyes.

But the reference to TNC is particularly apt in this case – I tried to research the original Dr Albert Byrne (who gave this property to TNC ) he was indeed a strange bird from what little is known of him.
