Mavericks’ Satcom link to a distant military satellite for broadband Internet in the desert.

My first attempt at light painting – using a flashlight to bathe the foreground elements with light. Just a light touch of side lighting to reveal the wifi antenna. When I tried lighting from the front, I made everything too bright.

This is beautiful; your first attempt certainly succeeded. BTW that photo of Dick (his name isn’t REALLY Dick, is it?) astride a er, a rocket — pretty funny!

Very impressive, the side-lighting worked well indeed!
Have you tried raising the ISO a bit while lowering the shutter time ?… Just curious.
