I’ll be having lunch with Biden today. Any good questions for him… like how many red states they expect to convert in this election?

Yes, you could ask him about his opinion, today, on Copyright.
If it changed through the "digital time" and the "CC’s era."Or his thoughts on the impact or potential of the internet and social-networks, on politics. Like with the Sunlight Foundation , or the way Obama used the net, to collect fundraising, for exemple.

“Well, let me share a story. On the second day of the convention, my young granddaughter Finnegan came to me in the hotel and said “we need a sleepover.” I had promised her a tent and all when we got back, so I told her that it would have to wait a few days. “Well, no, I mean now. Barack’s kids have already talked to Barack. Can you pull the beds out of the room and we’ll put in mats, and have pizza and popcorn and Little Mermaid.” So Barack’s two daughters, two of Michelle’s brother’s children, my 11 year old nephew and two grandkids all had a sleepover. When I looked in the room and saw all those black and white children cuddled up together, it tells me more about what the core of this election is about. I knew we had made the right decision. We have become genuinely close friends.”
Funny story: as I was leaving, I saw three TV crews outside the gate and they did not get any footage from inside. So they filmed my camera as I scrolled quickly through the 60 photos of Biden that I just took.
I’ll share more tidbits later when I get back. Crazy day. Flying down for Venter’s wedding now.

I find it revealing that his answer was something as simple as that – that a campaign is not all stress and strategy, and a mad race to the finish, that these folks can be real people and do their best for a semblence of normalcy.
I do appreciate the fact that you actually asked him our questions! Of course, I wish he’d said Pepsi or Aquafina instead of Coke… (But that’s just my pride for the company I work for.). 🙂

If history is any guide, elect a Democrat for President if you want government to shrink, Republican if you want it to grow. It’s been remarkably "counter-rhetoric" ever since the OMB started gathering data.
