  1. How was that even designed?!?

  2. Many hours of work and utter enjoyment!

  3. don’t tell me… the LEGO wookie had to make a detour pitstop at your place, because the hyperspace travel had given him the "Kessel Runs"…

does this kit sell to any under-30s at all?! 🙂

i think we should balance science-fiction with historical fact, and to this end, i demand that LEGO immediately design, produce and release kits for:

    – the Montgolfière or other dirigibles from the modern era

    – the Wright Flyer 1

    – Paul Cornu’s helicopter

    and

    – R. Buckminster Fuller ‘s Tensegrity Spheres

… alright, we’re back into fantasy again… but possibly closer to reality / health & safety legislation than anything built according to Lucas’ profound knowledge of interstellar travel:

"Lucas comments that, in the Star Wars universe, traveling through hyperspace requires careful navigation to avoid stars, planets, asteroids, and other obstacles. Since no long-distance journey can be made in a straight line, the "fastest" ship is the one that can plot the "most direct course", thereby traveling the least distance."

    (my bold italics)

the sensors on the Falcon must be extremely long-range, and sensitive, innit? 🙂

  4. rotfl biotron!

  5. Next, you’ve got to make it do this!
