I launched my 7 foot tall Aerotech Mirage this morning at the LUNAR launch at NASA Ames Research Center. The moon overhead and the alien playground below seemed thematically apt. The sound of cargo transport planes and helicopters added to the ambiance.

I added a cheap camera in the upper body which sends a wireless video feed down to a directional antenna and MPEG4 recorder base station on the ground. Next time we’ll charge the groundstation batteries! (Samples from the last launch below)
