Three powerful N motors ignite in a cluster and then, high in the sky, the onboard computers ignite the upper stage, another N motor, which screams to Mach 3.6 and over 70K ft. straight up. So many possible points of failure, so this was a “heads up” launch. And everything flew perfectly according to plan.
