   seems quite tame… are they accustomed to being fed goodies by hikers? were you brandishing a photo of a lady chipmunk or other such enticing fare?

   A Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel in an unusual pose. More often they are on their feet begging.

   Its not exactly on topic for the photo but if I was interested in rockets and wanted to see some launches do you think it would be better to go to mavericks, or balls?

   Un beau petit suisse (chipmunk) (or is it a squirrel? écureuil)! C’est une belle visite et une belle rencontre (meeting) lors de ta randonnée en montange (mountain hiking). Il est adorable!

   Beware little one. Ground squirrels fare poorly sometimes when framed in J’s lens.
