  1. a sanguinary struggle – I think this phrase would accurately describe a trek across that tundra without the assistance of 100% DEET. enjoy!

  2. I am already planning ahead and will make this my future dream home location. At least it is in my own country! LOL

Oh, Steve, you are travelling so Northward! What is attracting you this time?

Is the photo taken in the Québec part of la Baie d’Hudson?

  3. that looks surreal!

  4. It reminds of a fabric pattern from the 50s. Very cool.

  5. now I just need a parachute, nice, lets go. I almost made it there one time already. But that was with a cargo ship from Denmark 🙂

  6. @heet_myser, I laughed at your comment. I was a child in the 50s and the living room curtains in my childhood home were made of large circles. Indeed, this does in a way remind me of our curtains. I will show a photo when I find a colour version.

  7. Dear Steve, Thank you for the wonderful photo of Kettle Lakes. This photo was used as a scientific proof. Read here – Missoula floods – Subglacial Artesian Basin and its Full Physical pattern (fig. 24)
