Flying out this morning…
funny seeing Larry’s America’s Cup boat parked in the Oracle moat.

  1. A nice view! We get to see special sights from above.

Your title is funny. You also have good eyes to see the sailboat’ name…or you already knew.

Can you place this on the map?

  2. done – you can even see the sawtooth of the lake

  3. Could be a cell phone ad, almost. More bars in more places, etc.

  4. I missed the boat untill I looked at the full sized image since the mast is off. I thought it was part of the dock.

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)

  5. Cool. I work just down the street on Shoreway Rd, so I’ll have to walk over there on Monday to check it out.

  6. I realized later that the boat belongs to the owner so you knew about it before seeing it from above.

Unusually, the map gives a much better image than Google Earth. Merci Steve.

  7. mastless, he must have been questioning the cost again.
like how the buidlings look like fragmented hard drives

  8. Ha, this brings back memories when I was getting my pilot’s license out of PAO. We would frequent SQL because it was so close by and would call a "right Oracle" departure to get across the bay to the practice area.

    Thanks.

  9. The boat is now in the lake itself and has its mast and rigging – maybe he’ll be giving rides around the pond.
