Q&A Question: I promise you have not heard this question before. When you take office, will you apologize to the Native Americans and African Americans like we have done for the Japanese Americans?

I will not promise you that. When I take office, I have to first earn the respect and trust of all Americans. It is important that I not polarize people, and if this was my first act, it would look like I’m the President for a certain group of people. It would not go over well with Joe Lunchbox. You may have noticed that I will be the first African American President. I sympathize with the question, but I think this is something that should wait until my second term.

Haaa! Outstanding! …literally! (on the porch)

I love the pinky lift decorum – as a public servant, he recognizes/communicates that responsibility must needs be guided by a light touch. The grand sweep of his open, right hand seems to further emphasize the platform of his politics, saying, delicately, to We The People "Please, do come in… mi casa es tu casa!" (casa: Whitehouse)

    Whose guitar?
