Flying to La Jolla yesterday, I had not noticed this anxious warning in the Socata cockpit before.

Some subtlety of the translation from French was lost on me…

But then I was glad that I don’t use hair gel.

    Same reason why high oxygen content scuba diving equipment must be cleaned of contaminants like oil, grease and carbon dust. Otherwise you would get a rocket engine, something you would enjoy 😉
