Recently conserved coastside lands… survived 30 years of attempted development.

Oh, it’s the Wavecrest area of Half Moon Bay. These are coast-side lands that POST is planning to protect (with Coastside Land Trust).

  1. This is a fairy tale forest and there is a charming little princess dressed in pink going to visit the fairy. She is daring to cross the forest which is inhabited by various scary creatures. How brave she is!!!

  7. brave also because presumably has to play slalom with the gnarled trees invading the path. this reminds me of the giant rhododendrons at Portmeirion in Wales :

    they don’t look quite as atmospheric there as they were to walk through in twilight…

  12. No, no, it is the land of the little princess in pink. I wonder what name she calls it. Perhaps the forest of the Half Moon where trees can either be mean or friendly.

  16. great filming location, just that few branches are cut off too bad, I’m sure if to step off the path it would be even more wild. nice light and shadow. Little ET pal riding in to the woods.
