Thanks for the reading and philoDiscovery ..
Still exploring it ; ) -
Nice capture!
It would be interesting to ask what each sees the spoon is scooping. Bottom of the ice cream carton…LOL. Mais non, …just trying to inject some humour in the very serious commentary. 😉

Oh, I was responding to PhotonQ’s comment that there is no truth… I read the philosophy of Karl Popper to argue that there is no absolute truth, just a process for making progress in understanding. The scientific method is a evolutionary dynamic system. Paradigms and world views get overturned. It’s a competition of ideas, and no single idea is "true", it just reigns in people’s minds until a better one comes around.
Mimosa: The spoon is spreading butter on a blueberry waffle under the stuttering strobe light of a discothèque…

There is no spoon. Today. Maybe tomorrow there´ll be. Maybe not. Maybe today itself there is, somewhere else. Or we just cannot see. Or don´t want to. Or maybe it simply doesn´t matter in terms of Truth because everything is in a constant state of flux.
An ephemeral eternity.
An eternal ephemerality. -
Of course, no single idea is true and no idea privately cherished by one person is identical to another. It really is our personal truth until something seen, some words overheard or some event experienced create a shift in our perception and we suddenly see things so differently that old ideas no longer seem logical or no longer resonate in us. This is when we grow whether as intellectuals, as citizens, as friends or as spiritual beings. This is when yesterday’s truth is transformed into an entirely new truth. Such is how humanity thrives and comes closer to attaining a clearer understanding of life’s fundamental secrets. It is all about growing as individuals and as a collective.
Steve, I am thoroughly satisfied with that waffle imagery. It sounds perfect! Now, I am hungry…

@Steve : "Paradigms and world views get overturned. It’s a competition of ideas, and no single idea is "true", it just reigns in people’s minds until a better one comes around."
Tres Popper-esque indeed.
I have been reading about him this week-end. Will be reading more. But here is a question for now. If there is no "absolute truth". And if the scientific method is a evolutionary dynamic system, as he argue.What could be/Could you imagine, the/a next Step/Process for making progress in understanding (in a more or less long term thinking ? )
Ho and ! How about a new (better?) idea for Evolution ?!?

@Photonquantique:
Se rapprocher spirituellement de soi-même fait toute la différence, même chez les scientifiques.
Getting closer to one’s inner-self, one’s spirit, makes all the difference, even amongst scientists.
