Jurvetson: Hmmm… yeah, never seen a hybrid R CATO, but was out at the mid-pads with my son loading his L1 rocket at LDRS last year when this Contrail hybrid O exploded. Very loud. Shrapnel everywhere. Thinking back, given our proximity, glad we didn’t get hurt.
Saw this exhibition in NYC.. fascinating stuff. Did they have the exhibit where a gent’s internals lean back and hold themself up by his finger, mirrored by the externals doing exactly the same thing?
I really like Gunter’s work.. I think it’s high time the public were exposed to the anatomy and internal working of such wonderful machines.
