Walked by this one with a whistle…
wondering if I could set it off just by breathing on it.

  1. haha…you’re a pretty high risk candidate!

  2. I got pulled by security this weekend and had to interact with that machine. I had a bag of HCI electronics, about 50 components, boards, and sensors http://www.sensyr.com/store/.

They individually swabbed and scanned each one!

Admittedly, I could have checked the bag, but I was three hours early and I was curious how security would react.

Now I know I should have put play-do on my hand. wbztv.com/topstories/local_story_264104114.html

  3. Actually Steve, you probably would have set it off. Coming back from XPRS I’ll bet your were exposed to some volatile substances, knowing how close you get to the launches. Those sensors will pick up nitrates.

Just a little note in case you want to try getting close enough to breath on it.

  4. I wonder how it works and what explosives it can check for?
