  1. This remind me.
    Someone offered a book last night to a friend called:
    Au fond du jardin.

    A photography book about old style toilet in France (and i guess all around human civilisation 😛 ) . Where small house, in the back of gardens were use as toilets. The book is full of beautiful and original rest rooms… : )

  2. *laughing*

    Is your toilet running?

    ‘-}

  3. Une port-o-toilette! That is the modern version.

    The "back house" was transformed in 19th century Québec into the word bécosse for the latrines of the time. When we hear that word now, we laugh a lot. My mother has a photo of herself at about 17 coming out of one (a simulation for the photo no doubt).

    Today’s out houses are more attractive and sanitary, certainly more portable, but still not a place where one would want to spend time if it can be avoided.

    I still prefer your rocket toilet. These are so far away. I wonder. Was it the unbearable smell? LOL The view is great though. Any windows? Magazines? LOL

  4. Speaking of the rocket toilet, gosh, PhotonQ’s French one sure looks like it wants to blast off. Light methane and get away.

    Mimosa…. well, the strategy of locating them far away seems to have survived…

    I’m just careful not to enter an orange one…

  5. LOL This is EXELANT !!!

    "French one sure looks like it wants to blast off"
    Of course "she" wants it 😛

    I ll send this calendar to that friend. He should likes it, even so it s a little different from the other book-pictures =)

    As we should say from now on, in France. (Should i say it…) "On va liberer…une fusée" =°) !!!

  6. You know you spend to much time on the playa when… you pass by a construction site and a whiff of the blue chemicals conjures images of home.
