it’s also beautiful to know that he definitely put himself into his work, like an obsession after a heartbreak… it’s so commonplace yet so amazing each time to see that pain and grief can bring out in people such otherworldy works… like Dali, Klimt, Poe, Cervantes, and so many others I can recall…
