My funky little Moo cards arrived from the U.K. You may have noticed them as a flickr print partner.

They feel like playing cards and you can have EXIF data and titles printed on the back. I hope they fix the shutter speed data bug (1/5000 and 1/8000 second values went haywire).

The 1”x2.75” aspect ratio lends itself well to rockets… but is a bit limiting. To optimize this, I would suggest they check out Gustavo’s analysis of flickr photo dimension distributions. (flickr overall, my photos). On the other hand, the shape is distinctive, and somehow make them more “fun”… I’m not sure why.

    Nice looking cards, I like the hawk one as well as the rockets….the ant…that just gives me the creeps.

    I love ’em. I shoot a lot in public and they’re marvelous to have at hand…. A MOO card beats an email address or a URL scribbled on a piece of scratch paper any day.

    Plus, when I’m at a conference and I make a new friend, it just seems awkward to hand over my business card. A MOO is a much chummier thing…

    Don´t tell me you didn´t get a moo card of him… I don´t think I can stand that… -besides it is so suitable for the moomorphosis- =)

    Giving out Moo cards is theatre: I tend to let people choose the one they want, and draw conclusions about their character accordingly. The card stock and print quality is nice too. I’m actively meeting more people so I can get rid of my first set and order some more.

    I just got my MOO cards in too! I’ve got through almost half already.

    One problem, maybe someone here has an answer… I need a holder for them. I’m using a business card holder, but I’d really like something to size. I made one out of plexiglass… but it doesn’t work very well.

    Any ideas?

    After seeing these, I ordered 100 cards today. I got the 20 free initial cards already and those I finally gave away a couple of days ago. I have some better photos to put on some of the new ones I ordered… and updated my location from Houston to Marietta. Thanks for reminding me to do that, Steve.
