   mmmmmm

   I love good olives. I am a sucker for gimmicks too, like Gorgonzola stuffed olives… the nice big fat ones… in a nice martini…

   In your little stack there I think I’d like the big dark speckled ones up front, they look scrumptious.

   Very colurful and pretty!! Indeed, from faraway, it looked like syrup coated fruits. They look so plump and delicious! I would love to taste them all!!

   J’aime beaucoup toutes les olives. Les différentes variétés d’olives sont comme l’huile d’olive, toutes différents et intéressantes.

   I love all olives very much. The different olive varieties are like olive oil, all different and interesting.

   Might the speckled ones Oddwick mentions be Calamata?

   In late Autumn, it’s nice to hike up to the old olive groves at the summit of Pleasanton Ridge.

   It’s interesting to try a DIY olive cure. I’ve gotten pretty good results packing fairly ripe ones in salt and a lot of rosemary.

   I love the different varieties of olives, but I’m still happy to gourge myself on good ol’ black olives from a can! I put them on everything.

    I like the way you see things.
    I, too, like olives.
    My favorite variety is called Alfonsos, brined with red wine, they come from Argentina and Chile. Very meaty, very tasty.
